This weekend Chris & I decided to have some friends from our Engaged & Newly Married class over for dinner. This pushed us to FINALLY do something with our spare room-- From the beginning I said spare bedroom & Chris said dining room. Chris won. We are now the proud owners of a new dining room table.
Although it was a rushed decision & the room still lacks some decorative items, I am very pleased with how it turned out. I still want to purchase a china cabinet to go in the corner of the room.
Friday night dinner was a success. I cooked shrimp asparagus pasta, fruit salad, & home made brownies. Delish. I got some sun on both Saturday AND Sunday, read an entire book, had dinner at Gloria's with my hubbie, & did a little shopping. It was seriously an amazing weekend. I enjoyed just being in Dallas and having no agenda.
It looks like our social calendar is filling up pretty quick, so I needed this weekend at home.

- We're highschool sweethearts from The Panhandle of Texas. We have a deep fondness for Stillwater, Oklahoma and all things orange & black. We carried on the Jones family tradition of a wedding every other year. If this pattern continues we're due for a baby next fall. We both have a deep love for animals, thus having 2 Golden Retrievers Ollie & Oxford. We agree that going out with friends is great fun, but most of the time prefer staying home, watching movies & splitting a bottle of Oak Leaf. She's a small town veteranarian's daughter with a passion for fashion & whose main goal in life is to be a housewife. He's a second generation lawyer who's as well rounded as they come. He's the brains. She's the beauty. He's the voice of reason. She's the spit fire. He's the calm. She's the storm.
